Mud

What's up with the weather? Here it is, the middle of January, the ground should be frozen, and the horses blanketed, but no. It was in the 50s and rainy all day. The ground is saturated, Casey's stall is flooded, and we are in the midst of suck-off-your-boots mud season 2 months early. Not that I'm relishing tomorrow's mid-20s and with 20 mph winds.
